He completed his medical training at the University of McMaster, Canada with multiple distinctions and awards. He completed Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Manitoba, Canada.

Dr. Basil subsequently trained with world-class leaders in Facial Plastic Surgery in California, USA (With Dr. Paul Nasif). Following his training, he started building a practice in Dubai and Toronto focused on Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Basil has a special interest in rhinosinusitis and endoscopic nasal surgery, rhinoplasty, and redo-rhinoplasty operations, along with advanced techniques of eyebrow lift, Endo lift, and other outpatient procedures.
